I did a search but nothing really came up. Anyways, I have DVD Decrypter and got it to burn onto my hard drive. It burned 2 different files. A ISO file and a MDS file. When I go to use DVD Decypter it I choose the ISO file (cause it is bigger) and it tells me that I should have chose the MDS and does it for me automatically. However, this file is smaller? Is this the right steps? Or can I just copy that ISO file right into Nero and burn it as a DVD? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
You're right, you need the ISO file, but you can't burn it directly onto a dvd. You need DVDShrink which will compress the movie to fit onto a normal blank DVD-R.

FYI, get yourself some decent media. The "norm" around here is Taiyo Yuden, Sony, Verbatim...just make sure they're "Made in Japan" and you'll be alright.
If the folder is less than 4.38 gb then you can burn the MDS file straight to a DVD5. If it is larger than 4.38 gb then you either have to burn it to a DL dvd blank or as suggested by konfused1 compress it with DVD Shrink or other encoder/transcoder. If you use shrink or other transcoder, I recommend ripping with DVD Decrypter in file mode and then open file in shrink and locate your ripped folder. You can then burn it as an ISO automatically with dvdd or file with Nero.
Just to add to the good info from Mort. A MDS file is a small meta file that contains description information about the associated ISO. Decrypter just takes that info and uses it to burn the DVD in the correct order. It was mainly used if your hard drive is Fat32 and the iso was chunked up, and needed to be put back together.
