Hey, PLEASE HELP... I dont know which version of PS2 I have nor the mod chip. It is an older pal version and I can play some of my backed up games off dvd-r, but I now have a +r writer... My PS2 plays a specific brand (acos dvd+r) which I cant find anywhere. It does however run dvd+rw disks which are 4x more expensive...

Dont know what to do...

Some odler version PS2's can not play DVD+R
V4 or below i think.
Here is where to find your version.

If you have a V4 or below you may have to get a new
burner that can do both -R and +R
