Hi guys

i have searched this forum and the internet for days to find someone with my problem but no luck.

the subject says it all really, got up one morning turned on ps2 and the red light came on as normal but when i went to eject th game nothing happened the red light stays as it is and the same when i press the green power button.

I have looked at the power ribbon and that is fine and everything else is connected as far as i am aware.

PLEASE PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN

I'd say a problem with the ribbon cable, but if you've checked both ends then I don't know what else to check. I can't imagine that the buttons themselves would both be bad. I suppose something could be fried or otherwise physically damaged.

Any other ideas out there?
