After reading these forums, i bought an Xenium ICE and tried a solderless install with filled in LPC's. As i was sticking the D0 wire on the USA adapter into the hole, i missed a few times and scratched up the board. I also kinda screwed up the hole.

I think i see an uplifted wire connecting to the D0 hole thing, but im not sure.

My Xbox, with the chip off and everything stock, it still FRAGS!!!!FRAGFRAG!!

Please help however you can, i came here as a last resort and i have no idea what's wrong!

PLEASE HELP!

That's pretty bad if you messed up a mb and didn't even solder anything. I don't see how you could of damaged it just with sticking that wire onto the do point. With the solderless adapter it's just a spring pressure wire pressing on the connection. When I did a solderless install of an Xenium for a friend on a 1.0 mb we drilled out the solder in the LPC with a small drill bit and then installed the solderless adapter.
If you can't repair the MB, you can purchase replacement MB's on ebay & other places.

I know,

i got frustrated trying to get it in that tiny hole so i applied pressure and it slipped, definitly tearing by the D0 hole and i think ripping the D0 and making it touch another trace. Have i fried my xbox? Can i resurrect it? please help

Maybe, I'm no electronics expert & I've damaged a couple xbox mb's myself. If it was me I would get the solder out of the LPC by drilling it out or using a solder braid and then I would connect a wire to the bottom side do point. Still might not work but it's worth a try. If you can find someone that can fix the damage, you could go that route also.

ok, solder is gone, but what lpc or whatever do i solder the wire from the bottom D0 point to?

Or to make things easier, could i just buy a new v1.0 mobo to replace my destroyed one, or would i have to buy a whole new HDD in addition?
