Batman Begins PS2 Won't Play

I have a PS2 v12 with DMS4 Lite modchip installed. MY problems is I rented Batman Begins and tryed to burn it but it wouldn't play. I just boots up and shows the PS2 Logo thing and then goes to a blue screen. I tryied the Original disc and got the same thing. So I figured it was a scratched disc or something. So I downloaded it and burned it to a DVD-R and got the exact same problem. What's causing this to happen. All the other PS2 games that I have tryed to play have worked. Someone help.

try the PS2 forums
secondly, mentioning that you rented a game and then copied it is a no no !!! read the forum rules !!

besides, you need a mod chip to make it work, or have other things done to your PS2 to make things like that work. you just cant copy a game and expect it to play ! hence......... your PS2 logo, then a blue screen.

ITs funny that you said read the forum rules but what RULE did I break?? I read the stuff didn't see any any problem with saying that I rented and then copied it. I've seen it serval times in other posts about other games and on other threads and I did see anyone nag any of them on saying such things so don't start with me. Secondly to you saying I need a Modchip to play the game its aparent that you are either a poor reader or just illiterate. The frist sentence reads as follows "I have a PS2 v12 with DMS4 Lite modchip installed". And even if I didn't have one the orginal game didn't work either. So like i said gear79 you obviously are arrogant enough to think you are smarter than me and not read my post. Not everyone that is a newbie here are idiots.

I retract the comment on the rules but I still have seen it mentioned "go rent the game don't download it" or people taking about downloading it so getting on my case is crap.
