I'm in the know about Taiyo Yuden and their superior qaulity as far as burning dvds, but how does their print qaulity stack up to say Pro-Disc, Memorex, Maxell, etc? I've learned the hard way that Memorex sucks...but I give them props on their print qaulity at least. Too bad they are inferior as far as burning qaulity. What is the best "print quality" disc that you guys have used?
I only use plus format and the printable media I use are full hub printable.
Verbatim data life plus +8x coded MCC-003
Maxell +8x coded MAXELL-002-00 made by hitachi.
Both are performing Identically and the pictures are near identical The playback and re-rips are not as good as the same MID codes for the non printables. They do have a matte finish on them and I'd like to find some quality full hub printables with a semi or glossy finish.
I have'nt gotten a hold of any Taiyo Yuden plus full hub printables. They should be some of the best.
Those memorex printables are probably prodiscs and are on the bottom of those you listed, quality wise.
I can confirm that the TY hub printables are of slightly better print quality that the Maxell in my opinion. (We all know how the burn quality measures up...)
