how do i backupmy swapmagic dvd

can anyone help i tried to make a backup of my swapmagic.
But i cannot back it up. I tried dvd decrypter and alcohol 120%
but each time i get a message saying illegal track.
I donot what to do.

There are numerous threads on here about backing up the swap magic discs. The simplest answer I can give is :-
Yes, it can be backed up... but to use it you would have to first insert a bought copy (original) to load the backed-up copy of sm.
So, basically there's no point in backing it up. If your sm disc gets so scratched that it won't boot anymore, then you have to buy another copy.
Hope that sorts it out for you.

i agree with above.
the only good reason i can see is if you own an
outdated version like 2.0 and you download 3.6
then you can use 2.0 to load the backup of 3.6 so
that you get all the newest features.
but that is just too much swapping for me.

Hey i think i have a way i dont think the swap magic dvd is more that 700mbs so just burn it to a cd and then use the original sm cd to book sm dvd 3.6 with the cd sm

It's just wiser to purchase the newer version of Swap Magic, than to have to swap so many times. Frame your older version of Swap Magic, or make it a rear-view mirror dangler.
