I've installed a dms4 ezi pro on my ps2 and it worked fine so I attempted to installed one on my friends ps2 but when I got finished putting everything back together when I turn on my ps2 it just sits there like its running but nothing comes on my t.v and my eject button won't open the tray..so I took the modchip out and still the same thing..so I checked out the eject ribbon and it looked fine so I don't know what else to do any ideas plz help...

nope, the eject ribbon would have been my first guess

Oneill618 Is the red light coming on. Will the green come on & stay on? Blue also? if they r coming on it gives u a fair indication that the power/eject & ribon r OK. I would be removing the laser ribon & putting it back this has caused problems with many of my repairs. Try & explain the problem a bit more. like step by step from when u power on. Exactly what it does or doesnt do. We cant see your screen.
Its always a friends machine that stuffs up on ya, eh? I have modded & repaired 100s of PS2s & thousands of PSX/PS1s but have a mate give u 1 2 mod & it will b that 1 that gives u drama. Stick with it, u will sort it. Eventually.

I'm only getting power to the reset button the lights on my eject aren't coming on. when I power up my ps2 the fan comes on and the reset comes on when I push the reset it turn's green like it wants to play a game but no picture on my screen and when I push the eject button nothing happens...
