hi i just bought these on sale and im wondering if they will work good for burning ps2 games

i just burnt san andreas to one of them and it doesnt work at all, it skips really bad at the loading videos. this sucks

yea san andreas has lots of problems with media i cant burn that game properly on any media. i just ended up using hd advance

What speed did you burn at? I had to burn the game at x8 to get it working but if i do that with any of my other games i get Invalid Disk from swap magic.

I would try burning faster till you get a speed that it works with.

burned mine on Philips 8X DVD-R and it works
just like the original.
2.4X may just be a little too slow.

I read in another thread that San Andreas works best when burned to a DVD+R (someone said this is because the PS2 reads off of the San Andreas disk at the same constant speed!)

Verbatim is a good brand that's what i burned my GTA san to at 4x and it works fine for me i have a v9 ps2 but i see the price on then and that's to high if you bought it from there i get mine from sam's club the same kind verbatim DVD-R 4.7 100 pack for 39.78 here

i burned it at 8x and the game plays fine. is this also the case with midnight club 3? because its actin the same as san andreas did before
