Hi,

Sorry for the late response, I had some computer issues the past several days...

Anyways, go ahead and download package the first 2 packages. Nero Recode 2 is included in package #2...

http://ww2.nero.com/enu/nero-up.php

Here are some screen shots to help you get started:

(After Installing)Open up Nero Recode from the start menu Nero/Nero Digital/Nero Recode

Once you open up Nero Recode, you either encode the entire dvd (including menus, special features, etc.) or just the main movie...

In this case, I chose the Recode the Main Movie to Nero Digital option. Click on Import DVD and find the VIDEO_TS folder (or disc). Let it analyze...Then you can choose which audio channels you want to keep, set the target size (80 minute CD, 4.36 dvd size, start-end frames, etc...

Once you've chosen what the target size you want it to be, then click Next on the bottom right.

Then you can choose to burn directly to a cd/dvd, encode the movie to an .mp4 file to your hard drive, or create an image of it under Image Recorder

If you choose to burn it directly to a cd/dvd after encoding, then you can choose which cd/dvd drive you want it to burn to, what burn speed (to minimize errors, choose the lowest speed your drive is capable of...You can explore how it encodes the file under Nero Digital Settings...Basically, slow = good quality, whereas, fast = not so good quality. It's up to you....you might not even notice pixelation if you encoded it fast...

If you have any other question, feel free to post or search through threads using the search function at the top of the site.

Good Luck...
