That does sound weird. Do this:
Make sure your PC's settings (ipconfig/all) are mirrored in your xbox except for the IP of course. If so, just try giving your xbox another static ip and see if your luck changes.

I think i got one thing narrowed down. The ftp only does not work from my PC. I had a buddy of mine ftp in a load a file, worked fine. So then i fired up my wifes laptop, that worked fine too. SO it has to be some setting or something on my PC. I dont have windows firewall on, or any other firewall for that matter. ANy ideas?? Is there a new patch from microsoft that is gumming up the works???
