Is it a 100% fact that either in File, ISO, or IFO mode, that DVD Decrypter DOES NOT alter files in anyway, but simply rips them onto your hard drive (which is when I use Nero to burn them right to CD)?

Even when you are editing out audio streams in IFO Mode?

This will be my last question on "does such and such a program alter...." as I have FINALLY figured out how to use all three modes of Decrypter and if the answer to the above question is "no it does not alter them in any way" then I am sticking to this program! I wish I would have known how to use the different modes a few weeks ago!! Grrr!

Thanks!!

hi

its only a ripper, it does alter well it takes out parts of the encryption so you can copy it, but thats it besides like you say in ifo mode stripping other stuff out

but thats it it basically doesnt alter the files, that why you need the likes of DVD Shrink etccc

although DVD Shrink wont alter if the size is correct

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

Dvdd does not alter the files it rips to your hdd. Like stated by Rotary it does break css encryptions and may replace bad block headers but it doesn't alter or process the actual files being ripped unlike encoders/transcoders which do process the files.
