DVD DECRYPTER READ RATE

HOW CAN I SPEED UP THE READ RATE ON THE DECRYPTER. I AM CURRENTLY RIPPING AT 2.1X.

the only thing I can think of that's possible is maybe you're stuck in PIO mode, you want to be in DMA mode or UDMA. If using Windows XP, go to Device Manager (right-click My Computer, Properties, Hardware Settings, Device Manager) and make sure that your IDE channels (both Primary and Secondary) say DMA or UDMA. If they say PIO, right-click them and choose Uninstall. Then reboot the computer and Windows should pick them up automatically and you should be in business.

If you have a Plextor drive, go into Decrypter's settings and check where it says Enable Speedread with Plextor Drives.

SQUIZZLE IT WORKED...I CHANGED IT FROM PIO TO DMA AND VIOLA...THE SPEED IS AMAZING...THANKS FOR THE HELP...
