Roxio, cddb, cd-text - Advice Requested

Please help. I download shows from the internet and use Roxio Creator Classic to burn the converted wav files to CD. What I want to do is to import data from cddb before burning so as to write the cddb info as CD-text onto the CD.
cddb works after the disc has been burnt but this is too late.
The "get info from gracenote" button is permanantly disabled (anyone know how to activate this button?)
Having correct track titles and other info is useful for making covers - saves typing.
Can anyone help?
