San Andreas Game Mods for PS2?

Hey, I was wondering, Is there any mods like car mods for san andreas on ps2? This might sound stupid but you can do this on the pc version by altering game files with mods. Is it possibe to do the same thing but for ps2 by loading the disc onto your computer by using a dvd drive, altering the files with a mod then burning them to a dvd+/-r? If its possible, does anyone know where I can get some good mods... Thanx...

Modding a game like that can't be done with ps2 games, but you could try getting a cheat disc like Ar Max or Codebreaker, there are some possibility's with those.

Many months ago I wanted to change the music in the game. 99% of the music in the game is painful to listen to. No one could help with that.
My thought was if the game were copied to your hard drive, if there was a way to extract the sound files, change them to add your own, recompress/compile then burn.

It should theoretically work (if file names are the same), but you need the proper tools.
