Hi All,

I just recently added a Maxtor 160 GB HDD to my PS2 and started using HDLoader. Everything is working fine so far, but I have 3 questions:

Some games such as NFL 2K5 and NHL 2K5 can use the HDD to store data and show highlights after games. To use this feature, I think you need to have the Sony HDD utility disk. Is this correct? Also, is there any way to get the software without actually buying the Sony HDD?

I also read that the HDD Utility disk is not compatable with any other HDD. Is this true or can you use it with non-Sony games?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

it usually comes with the ps2 network adaptor, i dont think you can download the software either.

and how do you use that hdd with your ps2? i need to know, cause i wont to buy a PC hardrive for my ps2, but how do you connect ?
