how to get kung fu hustle in dvd decrypter (ifo mode) just the main movie in chinese with english subs i dont know what options to do i have tried them all, also how do i get the main movie in any movie that i rip just the main movie selected in ifo mode, or do i have to uncheck every box i dont need...thanks

copy with decrypter and use shrink to select english. u can find shrink at filepedia ( thats right here at ad's home page ).

When you're done ripping with decrypter, open shrink and and the movie you want to compress. Click re-author and drag the main title...i,e main movie. Tick/untick the sub's and languages you want to keep and hit "Backup", you're set!

tried that and but i load up the iso in shrink take the main movie into reauthor, cuz that's the only thing i want, and when i right click on the movie i dont know what to use as audio and what sub selection?

i use file mode most of the time. when u get to shrink go with main movie and english AC3.

yes i tried that, there are still no subs on the vobs or the video now what????

Oddly enough, I still have Kung Fu Hustle in my HD. I opened with DVD Shrink, chose the re-author icon and dragged just the main movie. When I hit play the sound is in the original cantonese audio, no subs. I'm not sure, but maybe if you burn the movie, the subs might show. Might. If it doesn't, and if you understand cantonese then just burn the main movie.
Not sure if this is what you wanted, but I don't see anyway around your request.

reminder that the ifo or and VOB rip will be converted to DivX format thats my whole point...thanks for the new updates to my question..but i still need help to my answer

hi
so you want to rip an original dvd with movie only then convert to DivX with english subs?
try keeping all audio then backup to dvd,
i've done it another way i had the XviD and the subs and used avi2dvd to make/jion them as dvd with english subs for this film...
sorry cant help further...
