PSX Emulator for HDloader - An Idea for Backups

It would be nice to play our psx games on hdloader but as we all know, that is not possible at this time. From what i understand it's because your ps2 boots up in two modes for the different game formats. Since hdloader boots up in ps2 mode, it really is impossible to play a psx game.

It would be neat to have a psx emulator on the ps2 so we can play our backups on hdloader.

How hard could that be? We've had psx emulators on pc for years. I havn't looked at the source code myself to compair pc and ps2 emulators, but it's can't be that different can it?

So to get this to work with HDloader, we would need an emulator with hdd support and a method of getting the games on the hdd.

So who's with me...
