I have been trying to download my KILL BILL Vol 1 DVD onto my laptop and then burn it onto my DVD. Everytime I get this I get an error of I/O Device error. Well, I googled the I/O Device error and went to microsoft.com and it said that I need to go to my IDE secondary or primary under my device manager and go to the advanced setting and change it from DMA to PIO Only under the transfer mode. I did this and it still does not work.
After doing this I spoke with my friend and downloaded DVD43 and tried running that "patch" with my DVD Shrink software at the same time and that did not work either.
After doing this I found your website and downloaded DVD Decrypter and tried doing it that way. That did not work either.
If possible at your convience could someone please help me. Thanks!

Have you tried ripping the files to the HD with DVD Decrypter 1st and then us DVD Shrink?

or you could always d/l AnyDVD and run that in the background as you shrink the disc

Your trying to rip the dvd right? I/O errors usually mean your drive doesn't like our disc. Try cleaning it off. Your may have a bad press.
Here's a guide for hard to rip dvd's:

Well then that probably means the source disc is bad. Is it the original?
