Hello all. I dunno if this question hac been asked. but i can't find the answer. Therefore i shall ask. I use DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink to backup my dvd collection. However, i've decided that instead of burning them to blank dvds, i would like to just leave them on my hard drive. This way i can stream movies into different rooms. What i would like to do is shrink them so they don't take up as much space as if they were the original size. Also, instead of of having a .ISO and .MDS file, i would like it to be a .AVI or xivd file or something. I'm not sure if i am making myself clear. Can anyone help? If i should be using something other than dvd shrink for this purpose, please let me know.

Yep. You can get the average movie down to about 700MB give or take both ways.

Download Auto GK (Gordian Knot)...you already have DVD Decrypter so you're halfway there.

There is a tutorial for the entire process in the help section of Auto GK under Setup and Encoding.

A lot of programs are available here. Maybe not everything but maybe at least one equal to what you're looking for at times. The best way to find a program across the web is to Google it. Just type the program name "Auto GK" or "Auto GK download" and you'll get results.
