i used memorex dvd+r and burned about 22 tv episodes onto it...and the sound went REALLY out of synch oon the last files...so is this because memorex isnt really a good brand? And any others have good/bad experience burning divx/xvid to dvds and watching it on your standalone dvd player? Also i burned the dvd on 4x which is the max my dvd burner can do (BENQ)...any suggestions and ideas are always nice :)

sounds like a media issue to me, AGAIN~ :) sorry, been through a LOT of media related threads today...

ditch the memosux, MOST LIKELY they are the CMC MAG manufactured crap these days..try better media, ie. TAIYO YUDEN and VERBATIM and the sound issue you are having SHOULD be sorted out...

what programs are you using to burn? also what speeD? i would suggest keeping your burn speeds slow @4x to ensure a good burn. but, most importantly USE good, high quality, PROVEN media for the best results:) good luck

Recommended Media:

Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r TYGO1/ 8x dvd-r TYGO2/ 8x dvd+r YUDEN000T02/ 16x dvd+r YUDEN000T03
Verbatim 8x dvd+r MCC003
Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups

yeah i read ALOT of bad stuff about memorex media after i had posted this topic. I burned it @ 4x (which is my max speed (BENQ burner)). I used Nero 6.x.x.x not sure which version. Thanks for your reply :)
