Hello, quick question..........I burnt a movie onto a DVD and everything was fine except for these annoying scrambles in the picture. It was like pixel type scrambles throughout the whole thing.

ANYBODY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THIS? HOW CAN I FIX IT SO IT DOESN'T DO THAT? THANKS A LOT TO ANYONE WHO HELPS!

hi,

need more information...the most important question here is what brand media did you use? media is undoubtedly one of the MOST IMPORTANT factors for flawless burns...also, how fast did you burn ur dvd? what speed? and using what programs?

let us know and we can offer more help...IF you say Memorex media, THERE is your problem right there, switch media and keep your burns @4x and you should be ok~ :) crappy media is like 90% of the time the CAUSE for pixellation during the course of the movie playback~ :)

good luck

Recommended Media:

Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r TYGO1/ 8x dvd-r TYGO2/ 8x dvd+r YUDEN000T02/ 16x dvd+r YUDEN000T03
Verbatim 8x dvd+r MCC003
Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups

Many possibilities - you do not provide much informmation.

Common causes for skipping/pixelation include:

1. the use of poor qualtiy media
2. burning too fast (max 4X recommended)
3. using lables on burnt DVD
4. burning too close to edge (set target size at approx 4400)
5. Over compression

What programs are you using for compression and burning? What are your system specs?

If using Nero or Decrypter - post your log (remove serial numbers)
