Also, the Memorex DL, (even though they're trash) are $29.99 for 15 - This si the first time that I've seen DL discs advertised for $2 each ... A step in the right direction

The made in Japan +R and -R are made by Taiyo Yuden ... The Taiwanese +R are Ricohjpn ... The Taiwanese -R are ProDisc ... 3 out of 4 are good

Look at the outer label .. It will have 'made in Taiwan' or 'made in Japan' written somewhere on it

jaehomo- Look at the Spindle Wrapper /label and the MIJ FUJI's Will say Made in Japan Near The Barcode label /Proof of purchase area and will say made in japan on the media label atleast on the 8X DVD-R 's I have ! Peace& Happy burning!

I just got back from Best Buy. Out of maybe 12 to 15 packs of the 100 count Fuji DVD+R I got the only one made in Japan. It was way in the back. All the rest were made in Taiwan.

I haven't talked the wife into letting me buy any ... yet (I still have over 400 Verbs left) But I'll get some by week's end .. The ONLY Office Depot branded media I've ever seen that wasn't Ritek was the DVD+RW stuff .. and that was Ricohjpn

catfreak-thanks for the info - So These officedepot dvd's should be like Ritek G-05's Maybe ? Bought some maxells a while back @ OFFICEDEPOT & that's what they were! Thanks again Peace & Happy Burning!

supermediastore.com has 200pks of taiyo yuden 4x DVD-R on sale for $49.99 total comes to $60.17 with shipping. just thought id post it incase anyones interested. i believe the deal is good from sept. 27th thru sept. 29th
