I was wondering since swap magic doesn't load games that borderline 4.3 gig, what can I do? Dynasty Warriors 5, for example, is 4.5-ish, I think.
Thanks

Except for DVD9 games I haven't seen a game yet that can't be rebuilt to work with Swap Magic and most DVD9 games have DVD5 version floating around with stuff ripped and/or movies down sampled.

The max is 4.37 GB. Dynasty Warriors 5 is 3.46 GB, so it loads without a problem; the biggest Dynasty Warriors would be 4 PAL, which is 4.36 GB.
As far as larger-TOC games not booting, that is a myth. Def Jam: Fight for NY (4.37 GB), Marvel Nemesis (4.37 GB), Samurai Warriors: Xtreme Legends (4.37 GB), Sonic Mega Collection (4.37 GB), Chaos Legion (4.37 GB), Timesplitters 2 (4.37 GB), Onimusha 3 (4.36 GB), and both Rise of the Kasai (4.35 GB) and Mortal Kombat Deception (4.35 GB) (which are slightly larger than the Swap Magic DVD TOC) work fine for me. So clearly not every large-TOC game requires rebuilding. I can only speak for the 3.3/3.6 people, though, and not the 2.0 users.

Samurai Warriors and Onimusha 3 works fine for me as well. You're right, it seems like larger TOC game bootings are indeed like myths. Coincidentally, Swap Magic 3.6 offers a TOC refresh but does it really work? I tried to swap another higher TOC disc when it asked me to but then, it just kinda froze.

how about rebuilding those games, most of the time their sizes dropped.
or you can always load them by cogswap, and use devil may cry 2 as your TOC refresher. just my 2 cents.

for games with a bigger toc than your smd, when it pops up and says refresh toc, just put in an original with higher toc, then swap. check the toc list for big files
