just bought some maxell dvd 8x +r. all the ones i ive bought before were coded out ritek, these code maxell 002. are these good?

 Maxell coded discs are usually made in Japan .. Look by the bar code, if they're made in Japan they're excellent

Both those two different manufacturers of maxell +8x are very good.

The MID code Maxell-002-00 are made by hitachi.

My benqs don't complain about either of those +8x maxell codes. Very sweet!!!!!!!

thats great. i usually buy the sonys. so far all of the maxells ive bought have done pretty good.i may have to add these(maxell) to my list of preffered media, especially when its on sale.

Those Maxell 8X DVD+R Made In Japan are high grade (top notch) media. Maxell is rank as #1 class media along side with the famous Yuden and Verbatim. So, you should be fine with them Maxell, unless it's an operator's fault.
