When I turn on my PS2 and it goes to the main menu the balls that make a ring become one single ball. And it looks frozen but I can hear sound. plz help and Thanks :)

This may seem odd, but this happened to my friend and all he did was hit the back of his PS2 and it works!

ill tell u sumthin i had a ps2 that didnt read discs and frozle like that all of ah sudden the balls started moving so its not a big deal

the thing is this. I use swap magic with games and bam it works. But with these 2 games it says "not a valid ps2 disk".......
Any suggestions
Please HELP!!

tru i have 2 ps2s one only reads burn gamez with swap magic but wont read regulaer not burned games but of course this is all swap magicz falt screwin ur ps2 i have done nuthin to fix this shit just load orginals from swap magic yadadimean

swap magic doesn't ruin your PS2
that is a load of bull pucky
i have used it on my V7 since the old 2.0 version (years)
and it still loads everything fine. Except for any of those blue bottom disc, but it never did read those well.
All back up's stress out the laser a little more than originals
will. But if you use top quality media then you should be fine.
it is those people who use cheap crappy media who have the
most problems

u can say wat ever i know this is tru and ah fact proven i had ah clean brand new ps2 all of ah sudden wont read nuthin and i use memorex DVD+R discs,,,,,,,,,,
but can u help me with my killzone problem the thing is i need killzone to be patched for online and its not patching right go to my thread for more deatils

OMG! did he just say the words Memorex AND DVD+R in one sentance? LOL
If you want to talk about facts, here's a few :
A. Memorex DVD's are crap, they f*ck up your ps2's laser
B. In general, DVD+R kill your laser faster
C. Cocky people who think they know everything usually don't receive any help from other members
Hopefully, these handy facts where of some use to you :D

Y thanks guys I think it will work Did I say that I have da ps2 chipped with magic 2. There was a mistake in installing da chip but its not permanant so its fixable the wires are in the wrong plase!

Well, as for the single dot on the main menu..All you have to do is go into the clock from the browser, and keep trying to reset the clock and exit out of clock options..does this until the dots start spinning in the clock options and your be fine..everytime i install a chip the dot always stop spinning until i do the clock trick..doesnt affect game play.but you want your clock set right..
