TY 4x discontinued...price drop?

Since the TY 4x discs (DVD-R) have been discontinued does anyone think the price will drop anymore? Supermediastore has 100 for $29.99 Should I hold out a little longer just in case or is this about as low as they're gonna get?

sometimes supermediastore has these 3 day sales where those 4x DVD-R TYs will be like between $24.99-$26.99, it's completely random for the most part, unless meritline is offering them a dollar cheaper during their sales, or vice versa~ :)

but, that $0.30/disc price is about right...during sales, you'll save a few dollars, but, i HIGHLY doubt (anytime soon at least) that they will drop to $0.20/disc or lower; if you can wait for a sale, you'll save a few dollars, but, to wait until they drop to $20 for 100, you will be waiting a VERY long time~ LOL

No doubt! I have around 80 Verbatim left and kinda miss that pretty shiny TY surface in those 100 pks where I could see my reflection:-).
Verbatim's are doing fine, just thought I might change things up a little for a while but those 80 will last me a while longer. Do you have a preference between TY 4x and 8x. I only burn @ 4x so I'd just as soon stick w/ those as long as they're availabe and to save a few bucks.

there is NO QUALITY difference between the 4x and the 8x speed TYs, as long as they're genuine, and since you keep your burns @4x, no need to worry, i happen to burn MY 8x rated TYs @8x, but, that's just me...but, to make things clear, there is NO difference in terms of quality between the 4x and the 8x...this holds true for the 16x as well, Taiyo Yuden is VERY strict on their standards for dvd production, if they don't pass this rigid test, they are scrapped. TY sets the bar pretty high for others to compete, in terms of quality, i personally feel they are unsurpassed~ :)
