Ok i downloaded fable the lost chapters torrent and when it finished i had 4 bin files and 4 cue files. I burned "discs" 1,3,4 but disc 2 is 740 mb on my computer. When i try to burn it, it says it is 616 mb. I use Nero to burn it. When i try to install the game, one of the zip file's files can't be "found' or read. Did i do something wrong when burning it or should i use a program other than Nero?

I downloaded the EXACT SAME TORRENT. However, I did not have such problems. Download Alcohol120% and mount all four of the cue files. Hit install, then, once complete unmount all of the disks. When you wish to play, mount (or burn) a copy of cue disc 1. Enjoy, great game. Just downloaded it today.

Thanks! I followed the instructions and using Alcohol 120% was able to install. However this takes several GB of disk. I have very little disk space (and an old system, so adding disk drives is difficult). I would rather have the game on a single DVD and a minimal installation on disk. Any suggestions?
In particular I saw a small torrent called "How_to_Convert_Fable_the_lost_chapters_PC__4CD_to_DVD" but was unable to download it (no seeders). Any pointers?

Yeah... go to your local electronics store, spend 80 dollars on a jumpdrive. then, just load them on the drive and play and delete wheneer you want, bring it to a friends house, it's great.

Yeah you have a problem with autorun which isn't letting you run certain things. If you have Service Pack 2, you have a problem, which is easily fixable, but first lemme know so I can be sure.

I also just finished downloading the 4 bin/cue cd's of this game. However my cue files were all blank. Now I have already read the bin/bue/iso thread multiple times, but yet when I create the cue files and mount the image to daemon, it says its a blank cd.
FILE "image-name.BIN" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
thats what I used for my cue file? am i doing something wrong? can someone tell me what their cue files said?
Thanks in advance,
Kyle

Hi! I have all the install files on one DVD, the cab files are named as follows:
disk1C~1.cab
disk2C~1.cab
disk3C~1.cab
disk4C~1.cab
Install starts normaly, and then it asks for a second disc. "Ok" doesn't work. I tried making separate images with cab files, as well as burning on CDs. Can someone help?

Haha! I figured it out myself. Just to show I am not a capitalistic profit-maker, the thing was this: if the DVD asks for a second disc (and fails in finding it), you need to do the following:
1. Copy all the files from rars (or isos, or an iso, or whatever you have) into a temp dir.
2. Download this:
http://m2010.gamecopyworld.com/download.php?d=2005&f=ftlcctd!rar 3. Extract the the file within OVER the one in Fable temp dir.
4. Burn/make an image/whatever with the temp dir.
That's that! Enjoy! :)
PS: Would you really ask for money? I mean, what happened to a good human help-thy-neighbour spirit? :)

I am having a problem with the game! I bought it just recently and installed it today. I had the whole game on 1 DvD along with a bunch of other rather stupid games. I installed it and after the installation i clicked the icon on my desktop but i got an error message saying this application has failed to start because d3dx9_25.dll was not found. Re-install the application may fix the problem. Obviously i tried to re-install it, but no luck. There was nothing like a crack or anything else on the DvD either, so I'm stuck.
