Hello,

No matter what I do, i keep making coasters. Here's the process ive done so far, following the posted guides very carefully.

1. created the iso using dvd decrypter

2. opened the iso with isobuster

3. extracting every file from iso buster into a folder

4. copied the files from the folder to cddvdgen in the correct order as the files were in iso buster.

5. in cddvdgen, i fill in the 'disc name' (e.g. file is SLES403.34 then i will put the disc name as SLES 40334).

6. filled in the producer name "PLAYSTATION".

7. used correct license area (at this point, do i need to fill in the other boxes such as 'copyright holder' and 'volume'?? i have tried this too)

8. clicked on 'record', received error messages, ok, then at the recording screen i went to file-extract- and then the program created the new separated files.

9. I then have combined the files in the DOS prompt correctly.

10. I burnt the files with dvd decryper, also tried alcohol 120%.

Note:
* burnt at 2X speed
* used both DVD-R and also tried DVD+R
* I have checked for any dummy files in the root directory
* I have the slim ps2 (SCPH-70002)
* The mod chip installed is MATRIX INFINITY v1.39
* the burner is Lite-On DVDRW LDW851S (irrelevant?)
* the games ive been trying to burn include Turtles (TMNT), Driver, and street racing syndicate.
* I know its my burning that is incorrect as ive also tried to run the game additionaly with Swap magic 2.0.
* CD-R backups do work, and some DVD ps2 games that are copies from asia, including a japanese game.
* my dvd movie copies run perfectly on the ps2, so the ps2 isnt having any trouble reading the DVD-R's.
* Those guys on the forum that say to use dvd decryper to 'iso read, then simply iso write' must be lying...!

any help will really be appreaciated. Every time i burn a disc, it says 'please insert a playstation 2 format disc' with the red glowing screen.

THANKS!!!!

m8.... you only need to use dvd decryptor to create and burn the iso... you don't need to do anything else, unless you need to rebuild the image.....

PS2 PsTwo Slimline (V12)
Fujifilm/RIDATA DVD-R 1x-8x 4.7GB

well correct me if im wrong but all those games are CD based,so using cd/dvd gen is a complete waste of time anyways.
you have a matrix infinity modchip,NO REBUILDING IS REQUIRED on any DVD-5 game

what disks are they?

i hope your NOT using the net whilst burning games ??,depending on your specs this can cause errors
i am not saying this is why you are having troubles,but it doesnt help

my guess its your media,and you may have to try something else,you can get good sample packs,which are always very handy

btw,just because the movies work,doesnt mean the game will

on the DVD+R type disk,see if decrypter will allow you to change the booktype to dvd-rom,its the little emblem,botom right hand side on dvd decrypter
