hi, i use DVD Dycryptor to copy my PS2 games. I use swap magic 3.6 to play the backup on my slimline ps2. The games start up but they either get stuck during the game (no specific place, on the loading screen, in the middle of a game while i'm playing). an example is my NEED for SPEED underground 2 backup. I have copied using DVD Dycryptor. i clicked on the speed selecting thingy and chose it to write on 1x speed HOWEVER when it writes it writes at maximum speed which is 2.4x. could this be the problem - i forgot to say the problem is when i play need for speed, while i am driving the game stops and it says loading, and soon as i turn and a new scenary is there, the game stops and loads the new scenary, it does this everytime i change direction. it is extremely annoying.

please help it would be great!!! I use Data*Cell DVD's to write on and they are DVD-R.

please tell me why the game is not working, thanks alot (its not only this game, it happens to a few and there is nothing wrong with my cd writer itself)

yeah, i would say the problem is cheap media
That stuff happens because the PS2 laser has a harder
time reading it.
Get some good DVD-R 8X speed DVD's and give it another try.
Philips, TDK, Verbatim, Ritek G04, Taiyo Yuden
The burning speed when you set DVD Decrypter to 1X is fine
it normally burns at about half the speed of the DVD you use
so i guess you used 4X speed and it burned at 2.4X
My 8X speed burn at around 3.8X
