I have converted 2 avi's separately because of audio sync problmes when I convert and join them as one(I use DIKO). Now I heard that you can make them play seamlessly(as one movie) in the authoring stage...but how? I'm using DVD Lab Pro.

Yes you can make them Play Seamlessly....

What you do is First You Put the First Part of your Movie in the "Movie 1" window and put the second Part in the "Movie 2" window and then you go to the "Connections" window and Highlight "Movie 1" and then look under the Connections Window and you will see were it says "Movie 1" and next to it it says "Menu Button(on Remote)" and under that it says "End Link:" well next to were it says "End Link" you set it to "Movie 2" so now when "Movie 1" gets to the end it will automaticly start playing "Movie 2".....

very cool man...thanks. I also found another way but in this case you cant have chapter points. What I foudn was that there was an option called segments...it lets you put up too 99 movies together that play back to back with no pauses( i tried it and it works great)...the only problem is you can t have chapters, it uses each starting point of each part as a chapter...but its cool.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

I have downloaded 2 XDIV files but the audio bit rate is different on both and therefore can't merge the 2 files, can anybody give me any info on how to achieve this or is not possible??

Thanks

If the Audio is Just Different then you can simply Decompress the audio in your AVI files First before Trying to Join them together...

You can Use V-Dub to decompress the audio By Loading in the First file and setting "Video" to "Direct stream Copy" and set the "Audio" to "Full Processing Mode" then go to "File" to "save AVI" and save the File and then repeat with the second part and when you have the 2 New Files you should be able to Join them as the audio In Both Files will be the Same Format....
