Patched it for online play, and it passes the DNAS check, but it seems like EA came up with this new thing called "Verifying your EA account" wich gave me the screen of death. altough i have a ea account, but they are now enforcing to verify it, wich means that if you have a backup, youll get the red screen!!! crap!

im not fighting dude, you just misquote me. i do hope HD guys get a solution to this game, cuz its a really nice game, too bad you cant get online with it, even after patching it.

I cant get DVDLoader to work, i have a Slim PS2 with the swap magic kit,(piece A, piece B, piece C) and ive read around and your supposed to eject at some point with DVDLoader and im unable to do that with the setup i have.

Hello to all.. I am a newb. Its been Three days; and it seems that no one has figured out how to play nbalive06 off the xbox HD.
Please POST ASAP, cause i gots to return my rental of NBAlive06 by next tuesday! and that would be a wast of $6.

Okay i've been having problems too. First i got the image and Burnt it the game didnt work. It would go to the load screen and just freeze.So i Exported it with ISO Buster and put the files in order into Nero. Burnt it and it worked and i go to play and it freezes at the loading screen before the game starts. Really wierd,!

I was able to get nba live 2006 from working but when i play theres a lot of lag issues, such as when u press the start button to pause it takes a while and the comentary are sometimes late. Sometimes u hear nothing but a ball bouncing. Does anyone no how to fix this? Will rebuilding fix the lag issues?

i get the same problem! I burned the iso and the game loads up but it goes REALLY slowly. like the lag is unbelievable and i cant even play the actual game itself cuz everything goes so damn slowly! does anyone know what may be causing this problem? I've tried burning the iso to dvd 3 seperate times and all the torrents seems to give me the same problem as well when i get the iso's from there! any help as to how to fix the problem would be greatly appreciated!!

I do have a good media (verbatim)but when I play this game on my ps2, the intro was laggy and during the game the announcer are late and sometimes u hear nothing but a ball bouncing. Mayb this game need to be rebuilt? anyone have any ideas?

Hey all. To get my backup of NBA Live 2006 to work, all I did was use hursty's metheod(On the first page of this forum). I used Swap Magic V.3.3 and valoa it worked. I used Sony DVD -R Dvd's and experience no lag at all. The rebuilt size is about 4.33GB not a big difference from the original but it makes a huge difference to make the game work. To play online all you have to do is patch it for online before u rebuild the ISO and use Hursty's method(On the first page of this forum) and you will be able to play online. The disc ID for NBA live 2006 is:
XX XX 03 30 CC
Ive tested this myself and it works.

your screen doesnt come red when it saids that it needs to validate your EA account? atleast thats what happens to me. and i patched the iso with those last 3 sets.

believe it or not, THIS GAME DOES NOT NEED REBUILDING AT ALL...
iam playing mine flawlessly without rebuilding.

Yeah I'm playing the game now on my hdd with no problems, just extract the game files using dvddecrypter and burned it to a disk or hdd and play, don't understand why folks are having problems.

Did you download the game or did u copy of original? I download nba live 06 for ps2 and burn it to dvd, but when i play the game it has late comentary and lag when u press the start button or when the quarter end, it also lag in the intro when they showing the playmaker control.

i downloaded it and it lagged big time. very frustrating as i've tried from all kinds of people. does the speed at which you burn the dvd at effect the game?

try different dvd-r/dvd+r's media. speed may do it. try at 1-2x.. or try.4x-8x.. see what works with your media and your burner.

one question, with this fix, do you have to use the cogswap loader? i haven't tried the cogswap, but with normal swap magic 2.0 the "insert disc" screen goes red.

hey guys i have an original copy of nba live store bought i put the iso on my pc using dvddecrypter i rebuilt it and they didnt work i burnt a copy using dvddecrypter without rebuilding but it went from the playstation screen then 3-5 mins later the nba live 06 loading screen then i turned it off cause it took too long does anyone know what might be the problem im thinking media im using a dms chip
