how do i install a new hd to my xbox without using ftp . i have 2 hd in my pc i want to make one for the xbox is that possible. if thats not possible can u just tell me how to restore ms dashboard to my xbox using easy steps and words thank u.

Initially you have to FTP your EEPROM to your PC/Laptop and save it to a floppy. From there you can use a program called "xboxhdm" to format the hdd for your xbox. There is a tutorial locted in the download of the program on how to do the process. You can find it in the software section of xbox-scene.com.
