Are there any particular settings in the options using DVD Decrypter to extract ISO files? - for madden05? Seems to shut down no matter what ISO software I use. The disc appears in good shape. I know there are dummy files on it, but I'm not sure if this is the hang up. Any suggestions?
dummy files would not stop you from taking the ISO
from your disc to your hard drive.
It just would stop it from working once you burned it
to another DVD, sometimes.
Is it at least giving you a reason? Like some kind
of error message?
Yes, in fact I saved the log. The process always stops at the same point using dvd decrpter and Alcohol 120%. So I not sure if it is a physical problem with the disc or that it just cannot be copied. The disc has minor scratches but nothing too serious looking but ya never know. Disc stops after 44% and then reads what he log states.
here is the log.

Change your IDE lead and then try again. Also, are your dvd writer and hard disk on the same ide lead? if so you should change them really.
I had a prob with my NEC halting the process a few times during read or write..changed the IDE lead and it's been no prob since.
