hi i asked this question b4 but i dont know if my post was deleted or what.my problem is 1 want to get my modded xbox online but not on mS live.first what cables do i need.then how do connect and can i connect without linking my xbox to my pc.any advice would be helpful and try to make it as simple as possible.im not a scientist or an xbox genius.i am good with computers though.

sorry about posting this topic twice i counldnt find the first one so i thoiught it disappeared.i dont know if this should be in hardware or software but its here.mods feel free to move it if its in the wrong catagory

Okay first you can go on XBL just not on Matchmaking.....Second of all to play on another way online is get XBC or X-Link (those are just 2 examples of tunneling) I would preffer XBC much easier and faster. Third if you use those programs its is GOING to lag like it or Not.....Then last if you have a router and 2 network cards get a crossover cable (at like any electronics store) and ethernet

One network card going from computer to router ([For all you noobs]"the port in the wall) using the ethernet and the other one going from xbox to other network card using the crossover and if you didnt get what I said just go to xbconnect.com and figure it out

yeah i was gonna go on XBC anyway.i didnt know exactly what rules applied about advertising on this site so i didnt mention it.once i get the cables i will try.if i need anymore help i will let you guys and girls know
