Hi

I wonder if anyone can help with either of the following, i am using a hd with hdadvane3.0 and transferring the files using winhiip v1.7.3 from my pc.

1 Some games i obtained come in the form of multi files with the extensions just being numbers 001,002,003 etc, how do i convert these for use on the hd ?

2 While trying to load a game called flatout, which i have as an image, winhiip tells me there is already an existing file which has the same first 24 characters, i may have tried to load this previously but then deleted it using the delete function of hdadvance, i am then informed that i should check or change these, how do i go about this ?

I can answer the first one for ya.

You need an archive unpacker program, WinRAR. And just open the very first one (either the .ooo one or resize the window with the files in it vertically and open the first one).

Then after it unpacks, you'll probably get one of the following: .iso, .mdf with .mds, .bin and .cue, .cdi, and .nrg. Those are the ones that come to mind. You'll usually get one of the first three.

Anyways after it's done, burn it with your favorite burning program, at the slowest speed possible. Or transfer it to your HDD, whatever you want to do with it lol.
