ok i'm useing DVD Decrypter, and i am copying only the main movie. it comes out to be 5 gigs and i want a way to compress the files.

is that Nero program just for burning or does it copy the dvd's to my hard drive??

Nero does not deal with copy protection. So you may first rip to hardisk with Decrypter, then compress and burn with Nero:

At Nero Recode, click 'copy entire dvd to dvd', then 'import dvd', then go select the Video_TS folder of the movie. Nero Recode will begin to analyse the movie, and compress to fit a DVD5 if instructed. You can then follow the lead from there to burn to dvd.

just use clone dvd to rip, compress, & burn...

or just use dvdshrink to rip, compress, & burn...
