Ok in the instructions (first off i have everything required and i have Version 2.0),
" Steps to use the MPH downgrader:
- Create an UPDATE folder in the /PSP/GAME/ folder of your memory stick
- Copy EBOOT.PBP (update 1.50) in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder
- Unpack MPHDowngrader.zip
- Copy overflow.tif in your /PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick
(make sure you have already changed your background to frame_buffer.png as explained in the toc2rta exploit.) - Copy h.bin to root of your memory stick (meaning in ms0:/)
- Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick (meaning in ms0:/ as well)
- Plug the AC adaptor "
Where it talks about the frame buffer i downloaded the required file and in the instructions,
" 1. Set wallpaper to frame_buffer.png (without overflow.tif present
in the PHOTO directory, or it will crash).
2. Add overflow.tif to the PHOTO directory, and open into the photo
viewer. Custom code to paint the screen! Or to write a homebrew
app! Not to run illegal games. "
I dont know how to set my background as frame_buffer.png... i know its probably a retarded question but i just need a little help,
open frame_buffer.png file in photo viewer, then hit the triangle button and look for the set as wallpaper option, then press O to get out of the image viewer. Then when uve done that go to settings --> theme settings --> Wallpaper, press x and then press Use.
i did everything im supposed to do but i still cant get it to work. i had a v1.51 bought today.....and upgraded it to v2.00 (sony's official web site )....someone please help..
On another note, frame_buffer.png is not packed with the downgrader because it actually isnt needed for the downgrader!
optimize, in the instructions packed with the downgrader is says nothing about setting the background to frame_buffer.png, the file isnt even included. I didnt use it, and I successfully downgraded my psp
