it's about 2 months old, its always seemed to have problems but i thought originally it was bad dvds
in case your wondering, i built it myself

i redid the family guy dvd that was giving me problems and it seems to be better but not perfect, but i wasn't able to watch the whole thing to see if the green squares appeared. the only thing i did different was i had just defraged and i used Nero to do everything, compress and burn

slight update, my newish girlfriend turns out to be a whore, but not with me so i'm busy fighting with her and neglecting the dvd problem, look out this thread will be back, at least with updates
