swap magic doesn't read dvd-r only +r

hey guys im from the UK and have a PAL ps2 and Pal games however when i copy games and try to run then with swap magic it reads the dvd+r and not the -r which i find wierd cos ever1 told me to use -r cos its better (the +r copy is jumpy and glitchy) please help and tell me another way of booting the disk (action replay gameshark?)

it has nothing to do with swap magic. Weather -r or +r works depends on your ps2 and your laser.

get down to your local £1 shop (im not advertising but you know the one im on about. LOL) they usually have packs of 4 or 6 DVD+R just buy a few packs incase you bugger up some burn settings. i have only had 2 failures from mine they are mr.dvd DVD+R i got some mitsubishi -r disks yesterday but they seem to take forever to write and take forever to load when in ps2! (i only used one of those tho for .hack//quarantine but im gonna redo that one)
