Im looking to backup all my DVD's, and bought a new burner a while back. Im using it on my old computer running windows 98. I installed dvd-shrink, and tried to do my first one. When I click on open disc, and select the drive, I get the error message

DVD Shrink has encountered an error and cannot continue. Failed to initialize ASPI device.

Any ideas anyone?

you may need to download the latest aspi layer they are available on this site can you tell me what burning software you are using and your computer specs.
