is there any proof of a halo 3 yet?
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

OK peoples, Halo 3 is in the making, this has been announced, it is set to come out sometime in **** (sorry, i'll get fired if i tell you)all i have to say is that the movie from the first page is from Halo 2, Bungie has barely had time to design more than one level, let alone give it any texture or even color, so dont expect any videos of Halo 3 to come out until either mid or late next year, so dont get your hopes up. This is what i can tell you: a whole lotta nothin!! Anyway, it's good to see Bungie has so many loyal fans, you, nor I can wait until the Godfather of all games (at least for ****)comes out, btw, it'll look better than any other 360 game before it (the way things are lookin now, that's very reassuring)

they have to make a halo 3 they cant leave it like that even if they end up making a movie about it we need a halo 3 just so we can get some closure

lets not get on the topic of the halo movie again we have already argued enough about what it is about (one of us in particualr) still i would hate it if they chose a halo movie over halo 3 that would be a very bad move by bungie

id rather have a movie. im not too fond of the 360 yet, and i dont wanna pay that much for what its worth.

But before you said this supposed one level was imcomplete, with no texture or colour (just a big blob of balck and white). How could you judge the quality of this compared to other 360 games then. And If you did work for Bungie (like so many other people on these forums) wouldnt you be a bit more loyal to the people who you work for and not give away information.

The Halo movie is coming out, you can even go to the site and look through old news posts, they have the director of Lord of the Rings, so anyone who knows anything about Halo knows the movie is going to come out, so yes anubis66, there is concrete evidence. Quote:

first of all, i didn't give you any actual information, just hints, and second, they have the Chief's legs complete, and just by the look of his legs it already looks better than Halo 2, and Perfect Dark Zero (well, Jo's legs anyway)

So why can you tell us this much if you work for bungie? Wouldn't they fire you if you released any info at all? Unless they dont know you are posting on this site, then you could post the date without getting fired? So you really dont work for bungie? Oh, okay, I understand now.

You didnt give me any actual information, then what is " they have the chiefs legs complete"!
Now can we stop arguing and acctually talk about stuff we'd like to see or anything like that in halo 3.

They did have something on http://www.LatinoReviews.com about the Halo Movie for those who did't know they had the 'REAL' script they had some pictures of the movie. or else they just put the pictures in. They said they got it for like 5 milloin bucks or 10 million dollors i am sure most of you went there

I was going to ask him that too. Hell, if he worked for bungie then he could just go into his "bungie computer" and just change all his levels to 50. I wouldnt trust a word he says.

i think that in the halo 3 ranking system it should be like battlefiled 2 you know like ranks such as:
a grunt
hunter so on i dont know but i hope they add the atv and other vehicles and also co-op online

fine, if you don't think anyone will find out, it's set to come out sometime in 2007, i wouldn't hold onto that year though, and i wouldn't be able to change the ranks anyway, the system is very complex and takes an increadibly skilled hacker to even gain 1 level like that. Also, if you look at the end of Halo 2 and count the number of rings, there are 7, do you really think we'd stop at 2?

by the way deiter i compared one of the main halo 2 movies to this one and this one seems much more detaled and more textured than any halo 2 movie this along with his build is much beter than halo 2 so i think it is halo 3 or the beginings.

Not a very good case for saying you work for Bungie. Think about it. Youve come to this forum (why this forum I dont know, its not as if its respected in the Halo community) and said you work for Bungie. Yet you have provided no evidence to support what you say. Wouldnt a true Bungie employee that wanted to release information go to some sort of group where he/she can get money for it. I doubt that you'd want to give out confidential information for free. Oh by the way didnt I tell you, I work for Bungie. (Sarcasm)

No. Youve just slipped up there. Havent you noticed that there is a huge cliff hanger at the end of Halo 2. That to me is one of the biggest indications that there will be a Halo 3. Not the fact that there are 7 rings left.

I thought I'd point out also, for the sheer amusement of others, that our new "Bungie Employee" here also seems to be somewhat lacking in the superior vocabulary and general mastery of articulating the english launguage, which seems to be almost a prerequisite for Bungie's employees. For those who frequent Bungie's site, and anyone who has watched even the smallest clip of behind-the-scenes footage that is so widely availabe since Halo 2's release, this should be obvious. I mean let's face it, these people have some fairly demanding jobs, intelectually speaking, so it seems to me that the vast majority of them would be both aware enough and perfectionistic enough to take the necessary time to properly puntuate and capitalize when needed. Oh, and also, more complex sentence structures would help. I'm simply not impressed, nor will I so easily fall for such rediculous claims without the proper evidence thereof. I'm pleased to see the rest of you share my disbelief. The wait for Halo 3 continues. *sigh*

And why the hell would "they" (not "we", as one would assume an employee would refer to his company) have the Chief's legs complete AND skinned before texturing even one level? I mean...legs? Seriously....you expect me to believe they skin only his legs.....not the entire character, but his LEGS, before having one level complete? Did you even watch the "Making-of" clips? They had entire storyboards roughly animated with no skinning done yet.....what a joke.....
