Easter eggs are just things that bungie puts in the game for you to find and have fun with i.e. skulls.

just for fun most likely also probably just to give you a little entertainement after you finished the game

Does it look any different on 360 compared to original xbox?

Except for the occasional "ghost images". Yeah, you know what I'm talking about if you've played it.

Some advice about those ghost images.... If you get them bad on lockout, all you have to do is jump off the ledge and commmit suicide. Thats the map I normally have "burn in" anyway, and its an easy solution to fix the problem. Dont know why it fixes it, but as long as I cant see a clear picture of terminal or backwash while playing on lockout, I dont care why it fixes it :)

yes the 360 vs the x1 looks alot better,, just using its non hd mode and its wayyy better,, then i put it on TRUE hd 1080i and i was truely amazed.. but you need a good hd tv to experice it .

I've only had the ghost images happen to me on xbox live, and only on my 360. Its basically just when you begin a game, (normally on lockout) and you can see a white ghost image of a map (usually backwash or terminal) on the screen. Even though it is light, it can get extremely annoying, like when you are trying to get that perfect headshot from across the map ;)

I've also had the ghost images on campaign, particularly on the mission Uprising. The ghost images were coming every few steps...the best solution is just save and quit and then reload. Burn in is different from what we're talking about though. Burn in occurs basically only on plasma TVs and occurs when you display a stationary image on screen for several hours without pause. This is a big problem especially for gamers because of things like health bars, targeting reticules, etc. Burn in is visible at all times on the screen no matter what you're doing. These ghost images are related to an emulation problem, so they don't mean a problem with your TV. This also means you can't avoid them. So getting a projector means you will still get the ghost images, but you will not have to worry at all about burn in. As for which projector you should buy, I can't recommend a specific model since I don't know that much about them. I'm more knowledgeable about HDTVs than projectors. Just do a little research and read some reviews. And take your 360 to the store when you're buying. If they really care about selling it to you, they'll let you test it out.

dude whos getting the projector, get a spare room in your house and charge people for watching hd movies, you will make lots of money.

anyway, i have a 42 inch high definision plasma and health bars are a problem so all new games should have the health bar for like a min after loosing energy eect. i remember playing ghost recon for an hour and then i swaped over to tv and i was watching a world war movie wih a cross com in it. so it changed the story line damm cross com.
the ghost image only appears because your playing it in an xbox 360 and not a normal xbox which it was designed on, because the xbox 360 has a completly diffent design , some games will get ghost images ect because an error has occured whilst it is emulating. thats why its so hard for games to be emulated on the xbox 360.
same with my ps2, if i put a playstation 1 gasme on i get all these funny squares at the top of my screen which never go away.

guys dont mean to be rude by directing you to this thread, but please will you give me some help on my emulaing the xbox version of halo 2 on pc thread at : http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/345495

Remember a high end HDTV is not an option for everyone. If you don't have the space for a CRT HDTV, then a projector might be the solution. And do you really want to have get people to come pay and watch HD movies at your house (which BTW is illegal) just so you can pay for it?

This is just my opinion: plasma is a complete rip-off. Not only is it the most expensive, its picture quality isn't better, and you have to worry about burn in. And it's not just a problem with health bars. If you watch a particular station a lot, you'll very likely wind up with that station's logo (you know those little logos in the corner) burned in. If you're looking into buying a HDTV right now, you should probably go for DLP. LCD is nice, but it's expensive, and other better HDTV techs are coming soon (like SED).

There's no way to do it legally unless you do like movie theaters do and buy some sort of license that lets you show the movie and charge for it. Otherwise it's illegal. If you look at all the legal stuff that first plays when you put a DVD in, you'll see that on the list. It's sorta like how it's illegal for you to just rent your game out to other people. Rental stores are licensed to rent the games out, but you and your regular copy are not. Look at the fine print in some of your game manuals. You'll notice that you don't really own the game you bought, you have just been licensed a copy of the program for your own personal use.

i totaly agree with you , and theirs more ,, side angles look crap and so on ....

crt tubes look best in quality but dont go higher then 42'' so if its quality n size then dlp but if you want the best quality go off with crt tube, unless you have alot of cash and can afford (slim tvs such as lcd plasman n so on ) for about 7+ gs then the best you can get is crt tube,

and crt tubes dont suffer from image burn ins , projectors are diffrent thou from crt tube,

theres nothing left to really say but random theories that are well thought out. heh but u know bungie probably is not thinking so in-depthly like you guys and your theories may be wrong due to a slacker slacking off at bungie and not looking for the best possible continuity.

But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

I don't think they have finished yet.

Bungie said:
"The trailer was built to have minimum impact on the development process, and while it required long hours and hard work from many, many Bungie staffers, it utilizes real-game assets, fiction and locations from parts of the "real" game."

And:
"In fact, it's the stuff it doesn't contain that gives it a strange kind of context. You can see how detailed the Chief is, but that detail applies to our other, unseen, unrevealed characters, vehicles, environment and so on. There's no AI visible in the demo, no multiplayer, and the entire thing has been left deliberately subdued both to give scale to the artifact and because this is our announcement. The real stuff will come later."

So their you go =D
