WOW, we've known this for ages, please read previous pages and see what you don't know, we have discussed many posibilities of Halo 3's story. N()()B

lol, I cant believe people are actually entertaining this idea. That screensaver site is not affiliated with Bungie, therefore they could not possibly know the date of release, it is obviously just an advertising campaign to make people download and use their screensaver. People please, have some common sense :)
Halo 3 will not be released on that date. It will most likely be released in November like the rest of the games were, primarily because it is in the holiday season.

i know i was just saying it was a theory and that 7/7/07 is a stupid date for the game, they want to crush PS pee.

lol. Sorry but I find it strange that bad langauage isnt acceptable on afterdawn considering it discusses dvd ripping etc. I'd understand if it was a childrens forum, but its clearly not. I dont think people get offended by a simple word anyway. A quick search of the forums reveals quite a few "foul" words ;)

There's a very wide cross section of folks that come here and not all of them enjoy seeing foul language and if you take a look through the "How old/young are you" thread in Safety Valve you'll see we have a large number of grade schoolers here. I don't quite follow how DVD ripping makes foul language alright.
I know there's a bunch of it I miss but I'm only one man with a limited amount of time. I appreciate all the help I get when folks report it when they see it ;)

The link between DVD ripping was that DVD ripping cant be done by a 4 year old. The majority of us are adults here, therefore I dont think we are going to pass out at the slightest mention of a "foul" word. To be honest the word I used isnt even that bad. I think the word I used isnt really "foul". CAEDUS2 used the same word as me at the end of his last reply except you have to know leet to work it out, so does that count towards it. I mean young people know leet afterall.
Moving on does anyone have any ideas to what the new alien that appears to be a cross between a grunt and a brute is in the documentary?

Its not supported by them. Its just advertised there. You can sumbit a story yourself if its Halo related.
I have nothing apart from the hint by frankie that there is going to be a remake of burial grounds.

oh and before on the other pages i meant that when my broadband is connected it says that the speed is 100.00mps not that it downloaded at 100.00mps it was downloading at around 30.00kps so you can stop calling me a noob

around the 3.00 mark, and just because it sais 100mbps does not mean that is your bandwith, if you have a router it's the connection speed of your LAN.

even w/o a router my lan always said 100mb/s. but hey why is that still being brought up? it was days ago that was said, ahaha.

yes your LAN is 100mbps, so is mine but my internet speed is 2mbps cos my dad is a cheap 455.
lets stop talking about internet you have not got a 100mbps internet connection

P.S I'm not one for dictating rules on other peoples forums, but for the forums I moderate, this sort of this should be done via PM, not in the public forums where it is deviating from the topic of discussion for which we try so hard to maintain.

Ok lets discuss what kind of weapons should be kept and should not be left in the game, and what should be added.
I recon they should add a heavy machin gun (but futurey) like a modified M249 but when you use it you run slower like while holding the bomb. Also a paralysis gun would be funny for the covenant, Guys running out of your base with the flag *fushooom* paralysed for 10 seconds, smack him in the back of the head, *flag returned*. And like the gun on Unreal Championship when you shoot a camera but you can 'spawn' to it but it can only be used once to be fair.
Anyone got any other type of weapon?
I don't like arguing, please stop my eyes are bleeding =(
