Ya i've made that point a few pages back when i first started to reply to this forum, if you listern closley it's not just gravemind you hear,

Guilty Spark did say,

And Dr Hasley is still out there with Linda-058 or Kelly-087 [not sure which one] and the Covenant Human Hybrid ship Gettysburg-Ascendant Justice with the shard that can 'bend both time and space' so we don't know if their will be Time Travel, how will cheif stop the Ark being activated, we can see clearly it is activated in the trailer.

oh and i just found this;
His name is said to be inspired by the Bible the text John 1:17, which states; "For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ."
Dunno if it's relevant.

Halo is related to the Bible in many many ways. The Ark, The Flood, Halo's. I thought the Biblical connection was common knowledge.

May mean 'though the Covenant say it's the Great Journey, they realise it's not through Cheif'

i hate it when people infuse christian ideology into anything they make, like halo and the movie the cronicles of narnia.
But they all do sort of the same thing, and that is rearrange what you thought was real, and they remind you of the beauty of very simple things. You forget, because youre so busy going from a to z, that theres 24 letters in between... You turn on... tune in... and you drop out...

Yeah. I dont like religion at all. But in Halo I think it fits well. Its like the da vinci code all over again.

But the da vinci code film was rubbish, i didn't find it very good any way, but it's a good concept and the book was good. Halo wouldn't be the same without a bit of religion. Watch their be some other kind of mind boggling storyline and stuff in Halo 3. I get confused talking about the story, lets discuss multiplayer, what Halo is famous for.

It's not really a squad based strategy, it's more a story-driven action game, a first-person shooter like Halo CE and Halo 2, i like halo for just frantic killing, anf fun, not head *phuqing* strategy. [that can't be a cus word, can it?]

wow you really didnt like it? i thought it was one of the better films i have seen in years. my
gf and friends loved it too. the part where tom hanks and the french presidents daughter part
ways is lame, they should have been lovers, ahaha. but over all i enjoyed it thuroughly.

@andy2000 all i'm sayin is that i would like to play as a grunt in 1 lvl just cuz u don't agree does'nt mean that it's a stupid idea. u have ur opinions and i have mine.i don't care what u do in the lvl i was just sayin as an example.people like u make other people think the world revolves around them.
and also the fantastic 4 sucks, sothat is an insult to compare the fantastic 4.

We dont know that the thing in the trailer is the Ark.
It looks more like the things on the outside of the Halo's to me.

You just contradicted yourself. You said that me saying your idea was stupid makes people think "the world revolves around me". While you just said "Fanstastic 4 Sucks", I see no difference in me stating an opinion about your idea and your preference for games/movies.
I was just having my opinion like you had yours, you dont have to listen to my ideads, nor do I have to listen to yours. I chose to listen to yours, had a say on it, and that is that. Bungie may well think your idea is brilliant and let us play as a grunt but I dont think we should.
Sorry If I offended you on a personal level in any way.
Back to what I read before. Yeh it was Kelly who was taken by Dr. Halsey and even though the Ark is opening (if it even is the Ark) it might not acctually be activated yet.

Well I think arguing is pointless, and people being smarmy and bitchy is really anoying when trying to start a conversation, and lets talk about Halo 3 not Fantastic 4 and Da Vinci Code, and discuss peoples ideas, instead of shunning them right away.

i hope the mc dies at the end of halo 3. like the final mission is a suicide run to do something and in order to do so, the mc must have his life taken for the greater good, and to eliminate the evils that have plagued the universe.

there is no future. its over incase you havnt payed attention to some of bungies reports. they
said they go into detail of the past and stuff, but they said halo 3 is the last in progression. it
would be inspirational for him to do that. then the last scene is the world 10 years later,
celebration marking the aniversary and showing how well off everything is in turn of the
sacrifice. but then again i guys fanboys wouldnt like it cuz alot of them are in love with the

Actually I did know that this is the last "Halo" because it is a trilogy. Pretty obvious.
Marathon is part of the Halo universe. But it was before Halo with the MC. Gamers probably wont feel the same about the Halo universe without the MC. It will feel somewhat empty.
You have to be careful with Bungie's wording.
They say Quote:
Is this the last ever Halo game? It is the conclusion to this story arc.
Notice how they didnt say "Yes this is the final Halo.
P.S You are forgetting that the MC "makes" the Halo games.

As much as I dont want him to die, I dont think there's any other way. What would an augmented supersoldier do with himself. War is his life and he would literaly go insane with the monotony of everyday life coparing to what he's used to.

i would like to see a "guided rocket launcher" like the one in the origianal perfect dark, that was fun. where you could guide the rocket by camera, or like the one in halflife 2 where you point and thats where it goes. but then again, that would make it even more of a noob weapon haha. i think its safe to say everyone wants the zoom back on the pistol tho. ooh and something like the rcp90 from goldeneye, or an added proxy/remote grenade would be nice.
