but then again remember it wont force people to buy xbl if there is any way to do anything non-single player by yourself.

well not alot of ppl have internet availble and well if on both then the more the mierror xbl traning is ment us ( including other xbl users) against drones bots ... u know? so yea i hope its either way as long as traning mode is enabled

well acually in all he microsoft games so far on xbox 360 the bot option is avalibal online so i dont see why they wouldnt put them in halo.

why dont they put the bot update for download from xbox live, it would mean that ppl will have to get xboxlive gold(only reserved for gold members) , then microsoft would have quality and money!

and i rekon that even if there was a bot option , everyone would still get xboxlive, cause playing online is what makes halo, HALO! u know what i mean?

yeah of course people would get xbox live the point of the bots is to train. playing with ai gets boring after erm 1 match. so people will want to play with real people. and do glitches with real people est.

im excited about halo 3 est but i can wait till its out or i dont really seem to care when its out :P
i cant belive that no one really replys to this thread anymore, i remember a few weeks a go i was gettign an email every 10 mins for this thread and then it suddenly stopped :(

all jokes aside I know this is old and I know everyone knows about it, Im talking about the juggernaut flood. Rumors have it that it is an infected Sharquoi or drinol (not completely sure which name is right but its suppose to be a never before seen covenant species the strongest yet). anyway a couple of days ago I was on youtube and for the first time I saw gameplay of the flood juggernaut in Halo 2. My jaw literaly dropped, I cant believe how freaky that thing is.
yeah I know this is old but I just felt like sharing that. hopefully at X06 or TGS bungie will release new info.

Anyone read the weekly update. So Jason Jones was out playing golf in a MJOLNIR suit of armour with 343 GS as the ball, thats why there was no news on the movie.

There are some very neat moments where the behavior of bad guys alters as you even the odds in combat. It means that battles never become repetitive "pockets" of action.
The behavior of the good guys too, has to be carefully balanced, and not just for difficulty. They have to feel like they?re helping you, without making a mission too easy. You need to be the bad-ass, after all. I can already tell you their driving skills have improved greatly over the last game. Maybe they went to driver's ed.
Graphics of course are all over the place. They range from a carefully detailed leave, moving in a breeze, to a big gray blob that represents "water." The mix of placeholder and finished graphics is less jarring than you'd think, thanks to the unified lighting model. Even ugly untextured things are beautifully lit. So they look sort of cool.
I also developed a new found love for the Carbine. On an HDTV, in HD resolution, it becomes almost sniper-like in its accuracy (although not power). But it is incredibly, almost erotically satisfying to take out Grunts with headshots. Back in the day, I never even bothered trying, because of my crappy TV and the Xbox's then-normal resolution. Now that I can do it, it's going to make Legendary runs that much easier (except it won't, because the designer jerks will account for that).
And the good news for the Luddites out there, is that the above described technique works just as well in normal TV resolution, but with a slightly different learning curve. So don't sweat it.
Anyway, short and sweet as ever. Lots more next week. I always say that, huh?

So the AI is freakisly realistic, this game is definaly going to be satisfying. Finaly more smarter drivers, its going to make me using the turret alot more easier.

im still going to wait untill it come out to see if its ood. i'm not gunna trust some bungie spokesperson to tell me a well balenced report of a bungie game. it was all done so much like propaganda. hell he even says basically "the game is easier on an HDTV." which is not true. either will be just as difficult, your tv has no decision over it.
