Its called the spartan laser, and yes it can do that if its in the screenshots.

No that isnt it being sliced in the pics. But that is the spartan laser.

No, Bungie has already said this is the last in the halo saga. However they're not ruling out other games in the "Halo" universe.

If your refering to Xbox you'll be disapointed that you can't ruin matchmaking with modding because it's only out for 360.

i dont agree cuz they have to show what happensto Earth (including the MC) and i think other spartans will be involved and be main charactors but i think that MC will still B the same...

I dont think the MC will be in any other "Halo universe" related games from Bungie. He hasnt been in the previous games that Bungie has released that are in the Halo universe (marathon) so why should he continue to be now.

Thats because when Marathon was made, Master Chief wasn't such a huge part of Bungie lore, most likely not even created.
Now that he is, it is likely that he will be in at least one other game whether prequel or unrelated to the trilogy, we cant just forget about Master Chief, sure the Halo universe is huge and there is so much to be told but Master Chief wont just fade away and become a good memory.
