Weekly update is nice. I like how bodies will temporarily float in the water until the armor becomes waterlogged. Nice touch of realism.

I dont understand how they can become water logged though because the suits are sealed, unless the water goes in through the bullet holes.

What if the body was thrown into water by a plasma grenade? What if there was only one bullethole in the helmet? If there is only a hole in the helmet, the rest of the armor will still float. What if someone just accidentally falls of the cliff? How long does it take for a body to go down?
I hope Bungie created different actions for each of these circumstances.

Bungie will do a good job on things like that I would say. Because on the map waterworks if you shoot down the rocks hanging from the top and someone is standing under it and gets hit then they die, which I thought was pretty creative and detailed.

yeah but back to the watter i think that there should be (and there 99% will be) a water splash with bullets shot at the water. like an SMG makes little splashes, Sniper Big splashes and RL & fuel rod gun & spartan laser...A HUGE LIKE t FOOT HIGH COLUMN ON WATER!!! yay

You don't die usually of you fall of a cliff! Also the halmet is very large and once the helmet is full of water the density of the body would eb greater than water

yeah if none of u know this i can predict lots about halo 3 first off the object we have seen in the trailer is the ark to my understanding that can activate all the halos, at once, also where the arbiter is heading to at the end of halo 3. And i know that the arbiter probably is going to join the humans in this one, and all that follow the arbiter will as well. and i think the whole reason the covenant has been killing, and destroying all the planets is because they are looking for this ark or the grand control room. I believe in halo 3 also the arbiter will team up with the master chief. i have heard allot about the enemy in halo 3 they are now going to be different ranking brutes, that are high ai, and well if you want to no more just email me at

OK.....
back to real matters. How realistic do you think Halo 3 will be? I hope it's as realistic as possible, since this is probably the last game.
Bungie, I admire you so much.
@Domreis: The helmet is not very big, and there is no way that it could be enough to suck down a whole body.

I'm with you, I'm deffinatly more into the multiplayer than campaign. I hope they put alot into multiplayer and make it alot of fun.

I'm sure they will make it good. But the none of the Halo's have ever really had a very long campaign mode.

i think i will beat campeign and say oh, cool, that was a good ending. then i will kik my friends @$$ at multi all day long. then look for easter eggs in campeign!
