hey guys whats up wow i havnt been on this thread for a while, to sum up what has happend since beta hit xbl? i heard that ppl alredy modding? (losers!) and whats this GoW better grafics? i mean sure i know its a beta but is Halo 3 really worser grafically then GoW? it shouldnt because its going to take all 360's gut to run , i'd be very disapointed if this game is not only a great long story mutiplayer ai and best grafics (so you pratice by ur self if u ran out of xbl gold or want to get better)(mutiple disc greatly accepted lol but they are already set oh well)

Yeah in Halo 2 the storyline really did not cover much so Halo 3's storyline will definetly be huge i mean its the last Halo ever(well with the MC as the main charecter). There really hasnt been many porblems with the beta at all well at least for me. The only glitches i have encountered would be the rockets not shooting any bullets out and getting out of the map on valhalla well that doesnt really effect the gameplay though. And how can anyone say that the graphics arnt good? They havnt even polished them for the finished game. And the beta did not have problems from the get go it was only with Crackdown people only a 12 hour delay i was playing a week before that no problems.

Thats true but its a glitch that can easily be fixed and you cant do that on any other level.

Ya im glad that it's coming out so soon i dont know if i could have waited until november this time around. And has anyone else played the custom games glitch. If you havnt i can tell you how to do it or you can join my party. But i wouldnt do it if you dont want to spoil the game for yourself because it has the Pistol, Sword, And the wraith with alot of customizable gametypes. Lets just say you can change the Gravity of a level and the percent of increase you want to run up to 300%.

Am I the only person that is worried that there gonna used the "rushed" excuse again like they did in Halo 2?

I wouldnt worry about the rushed excuse, Actually part of me is saying yes postpond it and another part of me says noo just ship it.
if they do put it on a later date insted of sept 25 they can work more with the game and maybe they can hear custoemrs/gamers....
then again 360 is diffrent from x1 so they can update stuff often
bottom line is im willing to wait longer if theirs a huge dratic thigns to inprove rather then rushing it.Originally posted by Donavin:

Ya this isnt really rushed if u ask me because they didnt have as much people as they do now when they were building Halo 2. But now they have a much bigger place with alot more employees working on Halo 3.

True but as you said updates will most likely be put on xbox live, but that leaves it as a disadvantage for the people that do not have xbox live....Yeah a huge part of me says post pone it so the product is better, but a small part of me is saying ship it.

i hope you guys are smart enough to figure out that they already finished Halo 3, and are testing the game( playing through easy, normal, heroic, and legendary.). all the graphics are done and i am surprised that a lot of people judge the beta's graphics. cmon guys the whole thing is only 900mb and the full game will be some where between 6-8 gigs. so ya. they will be done with out rushing it within a month or maximum of 2 , and then they will be shiping the game for mass copy. they released the beta just so they know how the NETWORKING is going. i bet you that they played and finished the beta sometime in january or feb of this year and they just polished it for us so we dont judge them harshly.
and if you go to xbox.com fourms a guy posted conclusion to the beta code. and what are hidden. guess what, in the lobby options it said 'map editor'. 0)

i just hate to hear that its only a dual layer not enough work space can be done. I just wish they would sell it for HD-DVD required and im 100% they still sell high rated sales, with HD DVD to work with they can or could of done soo much inprovement on the game soo much that they could of really pushed the 360 to its max limits and im certain a dual layer cannot even grasp to compared to HD DVD. i mean hell ps3 does all games in blue ray and im hell inpressed with each game i see in target they really look next gen. as for 360 they are just polihed up and only game that looks current gen to slighty next gen is GoW besides that sorry none out of all 360 games look anywhere close to next gen... and this is a coming from a guy that has high end monster componet cables full HDTV exceding over 40''

All valid points, but if they were to post pone the Halo 3 release, they could tweak it up a bit, making it have the HD DVD stuff, and if they took alot of time they could potentially create a whole new option like custom maps, that could be elaborate as campaign.

yes a custom map editer sounds good however what im dieing to see in Halo 3 PLEASE BUNGIE LISTEN dont screw this up!!! is that i want to be able to play with ai computer really usefull when your gold xbl expires or if you want to train your self to get better skilled... to have an option that the ai learn from you and gets smarter... so yeah really ai is one of the most imporant things to me .... if bungie can fine tune the cheating system so that everything is near perfect no glitching super jumping etc etc.... while this is fun (personal experice) i would perfer this only when playing a custom live game not ranked mode. maybe they can add more funtions like this in seprate expension disk after game being sold and wanted to pay for dratsic updates... sort of like the sims games for pc. that way you can pop your extra disc uplod it to ur hdd and enjoy new stuff i know i would pay major for this. does any of this make sense to any of you guys?

Perfect sense, and that makes a really good reason why they should post pone it so that they may add favored things from the viewers, for instance your AI computer is a great idea, maybe setting it to maybe being "grunt" difficulty, and maybe even making it to have AI teammates, and have an all out AI war.....not bad, And honestly i pray bungie will read this.

well its public internet thats why i wrote bungie statment lol but uhh any clue where i should email this to bungie? i mean i know its a 1: million shot but what do i lose?

Right, idk go to bungie, and find a place where you can contact bungie, and if theres a website bungie refers to alot, besides their site, try contacting them there, but this would be pretty cool if your AI, and my custom map came out for h3!

if anyone here likes to work with a letter to bungie of what we would like and he/she would like to correct spelling grammer etc etc add more stuff or make it seem more professional by all means lets think of something to write to bungie cuz i mean we got nothing better else to do while we read on this thread so lets make it to good use even if more likely bungie wont listen atlest we'll try.

I have only 3 words in response to a level editor and ai in Halo 3, and that is Halo 2 Vista! What a piece of crap the software is that they shipped. Bungie should feel shamed for taking any part in co-releasing that turd! You think that since it was a planned item all along, they would have done better with coding it and making the same options available for it as we the modding community did for H1CE. If this is all they can offer with a planned product, I can't imagine what it would look like if they decided to throw one into H3 at this point! For the love of god no!!!! We will find a way to customize it ourselves like in H2.
