lets see first off in halo 2 it was a 4 shot and or a 3 shot, but u bad kids could not do because u can multi tast and hit R+R+X, and in halo 3 i love the fact that i have to 10 shot a guy in the face to kill him, then i also love the fact when i beat down it does not count... so theres my point

ok halo 2 was great. but i think the campaign sucked. i like halo 3's campaign way more. and multiplayer on both of them is amazing. but if u think about it halo 2 had been played for two years with different updates as often as possible. halo 3 has been played for just a few months and there have been plenty of updates already and a ton more to come. when halo 2 first came out its matchmaking sucked and was not amazing but bungie fix it and made it become wat it is now. halo 3 will be the same way. they are adding three new maps soon and more to come later. the playlists are constantly being updated and they plan to add team hardcore soon. i think the way halo 3 is set up is way better then halo 2. sure it has its problems but its still a brand new game.
and if u think it was easy to get to level 50 right away its maybe bc a lot of the really good players have lives and cant sit at home playing halo all day. you prolly played all the noobs when the game first came out. halo 3 is not only better then halo 2 but in time halo 2 will have become a joke.
and if you are gonna complain about the sniper not being the same its bc u are prolly no good at sniping. the new rifle takes a lot more skill then before so the noobs need to quit crying about it. but i will agree that the beat downs are a problem.

Yeah...from all the gaming sites Ive gone to, Halo 3 has received a higher score than Halo 2. I personally love the story and theres just so much more to do in the third chapter than in the second. The story itself is pretty epic. First there was Star Wars, then there was Lord of The Rings (although I dont like it), and now there is the Halo Trilogy.
OH yeah and for the guy who said he saw the trailer for the movie...that was not the real trailer to the film, the film project itself hasn't even gotten off the ground. All the so called live action Halo clips are just promotional videos for the release of Halo 3 as well as the vision of Director Neil Blompcamp of how he were to make the film. Currently, fox and Universal pictures have abandoned the project, but peter Jackson will try to push forward with his own Wingnut studios.

lol all you have to do to keep yourself occupied is go to forge, and create a few interesting maps, like for the elite soldiers clan i created a highly advanced shooting range, to train, or perfect ones use with certain weapons, and im working on a driving course recently, and if you arnt exactly awed by forge, then you can wait till december 11 for the heroic map pack

Is the Halo 3 Essentials disc a standard DVD, or protected Xbox DVD? I see stickers on the ones that people are selling on Ebay and it says "Insert Game Disc First". I bought the standard Halo 3 edition.

Yes you can all you have to do is download the rocket race game varient and rocket race maps to your xbox 360 and then you will be ale to choose them to play in multiplayer local.

I do! I got a training camp at vahalla for weapons training, i made an i am legend map on standoff which really has nothing to do with the movie, but is great, and i have 3 or four remade gears of war maps on foundry, being gridlock, canals, and fuel depot, but since there was limited space i cut down the sizes a bit, and removed unnecessary objects.
